Organic Soy-Free Broiler feed has a minimum of 17% protein and are used to help your meat birds grow quickly and efficiently. You can start using this feed for meat birds around 5-6 weeks of age. In some parts of the country, we only offer “Soy-Free” (which is the most preferred organic feed).
This feed is formulated to be used as the only source of food for your meat birds.

An alternative to these Organic Soy-Free Broiler Pellets is to continue to feed your meat birds chick starter. This approach is easier on you, but your birds will consume more feed and will not grow as fast.
A good rule of thumb is that each meat bird will consume 2 times its body weight at the time of butcher. So, you can expect a small 5-pound roaster to consumer 10 lbs of feed.
So, based on the number of meat birds you have, you will need the following amounts of feed:
- 25 lbs of Finisher: Feeds 2-3 Meat Birds
- 50 lbs of Starter: Feeds 4-6 Meat Birds
- 75 lbs of Starter: Feeds 7-8 Meat Birds
- 100 lbs of Starter: Feeds 9-10 Meat Birds
